Team b. Strategy + Ranks No. 2110 on the 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies

August 17, 2021

Alexandria, Virginia – Inc. magazine revealed today that Team b. Strategy + is No. 2110 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

“I am beyond grateful to have Team b. recognized as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies,” said Brittany Westling, President and CEO of Team b. Strategy. “It feels especially rewarding this year after everything that our team has accomplished through one of the most tumultuous times in modern history.”

Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at https://www.inc.com/profile/team-b-marketing.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.

Team b. Strategy + President, Brittany Westling, Named to NSBA Leadership Council

February 25, 2021

Alexandria, Virginia – Brittany Westling, President of Team b. Strategy +, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Brittany Westling, a recognized leader in the small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As a small-business owner, I know how important it is to get involved in policy and regulation that impacts small businesses and the communities they serve,” said Westling. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council is a great opportunity to convey and discuss collective small-business matters to our federal, state, and local policy makers.”

Brittany started Team b. Strategy + as a virtual firm with the intention of building a career that afforded her the opportunity to contribute to important issues like national security while being able to support her spouse in his role as an active-duty service member. Ten years later, Westling has built a company her clients turn to and trust, while her employees have the opportunity to influence the company culture and project portfolio that aligns to who they are as a team and amplifies the things they care about.

Westling joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs, and how the Affordable Care Act will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

“I am proud to have Brittany Westling as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “She came to us highly recommended and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
