As a member of our stellar team, you’ll take ownership of marketing and communications to drive effective delivery and adoption of products, services, and policies for our client.

 

You’ll help us fulfill our customer’s marketing and communications needs to ensure that their story is told—loud and clear.  Moreover, you'll also be helping Team b build its marketing and communication program!

 

Description

In this full-time position you will be responsible for engagement, development, change management, and outreach.  You will work closely with our clients to identify opportunities for them to communicate  their mission and strategic goals to a broad audience, gain buy-in, and ultimately influence change. This team member will broker relationships on behalf of our client to connect people with information and build trust among partners and stakeholders. This opportunity will also help Team b develop deeper client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic communication and change management

  • Marketing and government relations activities

  • Provide high level analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on communicating the importance of the integration of information technology, cybersecurity, information management, network architecture, application/software diversity and principles of weapon data security.

  • Participate in efforts to advance the cybersecurity of the US nuclear weapon stockpile management activities

  • Aide client in their efforts to address issues associated with maintaining the integrity of data against known and evolving adversarial threats and to prevent data loss

  • Participate in the analysis and evaluation industry and government best practices and solutions and formulate messaging

  • Play a role in the secure communications required for successful execution of our client's Defense Nuclear Non-proliferation as well as Counterterrorism and Counterproliferation mission sets

  • Understand the sources and characteristics of foreign intelligence and foreign capabilities in areas impacting the nuclear weapon stockpile

  • Develop and implement a strategy for stakeholder outreach

  • Develop approaches for outreach and information sharing for Team b and our clients

  • Manage international engagement as needed for the client

  • Coordinate strategic engagement and outreach programs

  • Develop and promote collaborative relationships with like-minded organizations and co-manage joint projects


What you need to apply:

  • Department of Energy Q/SCI or top secret/SCI security clearance required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 7+ years' experience in a corporate environment; client service experience a plus

  • Be a strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across an organization

  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to independently manage several projects simultaneously and to produce measurable results

  • Ability to travel up to 50% when necessary


You'll get extra credit for:

  • Previous experience in cyber security

  • Experience with change management

  • Experience with government contracts

  • Advanced degree or certifications

  • Expertise in marketing, strategic communication, and training

  • Graphic design skills

  • An understanding of federal IT environments
